Lab: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

*I am putting this lab on my blog because my email has been acting up and isn't sending messages properly.*

"Tell me what, if anything you found to be surprising."

I thought it was incredibly surprising that only one person knew where to recycle glass. It's a very common material and one that almost if not all homes contain. I was also surprised to see styrofoam on the list. While I consider myself to be conscious of my recycling, styrofoam is one of those materials that I have never really given much thought to. The one person that responded 'yes' for knowing where to recycle it just stated that she just guesses that it goes in with the regular recycling that the city picks up.I figured that the more common items such as newspaper and steel cans would all be recycled, but I didn't account for the not so common items such as unneeded paint and styrofoam in my initial estimations. Because of this, I was not expecting to see such varied and wide-ranging percentages.
Please email me your table and answer to #3.
